Located at 7 Old Park Lane in the heart of Mayfair, London, Park Lane is a prestigious commercial office project combining contemporary architecture with a refined and understated material palette. XO Tile supplied more than 2,000 square metres of tile for the project, working alongside main contractor Gilbert Ash to deliver the specified finishes throughout the development.
The project features a sophisticated selection of large-format surfaces from Atlas Concorde, including Marvel Stone Nero Marquina and Carrara, specified in an impressive 750 × 1500 mm format. The generous scale of the tiles creates a clean, contemporary aesthetic, while allowing the distinctive character, veining and tonal variation of each surface to remain a key feature of the design.
Marvel Stone Carrara was also specified with Atlas Concorde's Sensitech slip-resistant technology in the 750 × 1500 mm format. This was the first project incorporating the new Sensitech surface, combining the appearance of a refined stone finish with enhanced technical performance.
The completed Park Lane project demonstrates how carefully selected large-format porcelain can combine visual impact with practical performance within a high-end commercial environment. The combination of Atlas Concorde surfaces, considered formats and innovative Sensitech technology creates a refined finish suited to the scale and character of this prestigious Mayfair development.
