Grange Castle is a prestigious commercial development that combines contemporary architecture with a carefully considered selection of tile and porcelain surfaces. The project incorporates a range of materials across both internal and external areas, creating a cohesive architectural palette while responding to the different technical and aesthetic requirements of the development.

XO Tile supplied a selection of surfaces from Fioranese and Atlas Concorde, with different formats and finishes used throughout the project. The specification was developed to provide a balance of contemporary design, durability and material character across the extensive commercial environment.

The project features I Cocci, Cementi and Ciner from Fioranese, bringing a varied palette of contemporary surfaces to both internal and external areas.

The distinctive character of these ranges allows different areas of the development to be defined through changes in colour, texture and finish, while maintaining a consistent overall design language.

Prism Graphite and Boost Pearl from Atlas Concorde add further variation to the specification. Boost Pearl was specified in a 600 × 600 mm format, providing a refined stone-inspired finish, while Prism Graphite introduces a deeper and more contrasting tone to selected areas.

A key feature of the Grange Castle specification was the use of tiles across both internal and external applications. This allowed the material palette to respond to the different requirements of the project while maintaining a cohesive relationship between the various spaces.

The combination of Fioranese and Atlas Concorde surfaces creates a layered palette of contemporary materials. Lighter and more neutral finishes provide a clean architectural foundation, while deeper tones such as Prism Graphite introduce contrast and definition.

The completed Grange Castle project demonstrates how a carefully coordinated tile specification can bring together internal and external areas within a large-scale commercial development. The result is a sophisticated and cohesive development where the tile specification complements the architecture while providing practical, high-performance surfaces across both internal and external spaces.
