Located within Croke Park, The Crossbar is a food and drink venue that brings a distinctive pub aesthetic to one of Ireland’s most iconic sporting grounds. The tiled bar fronts create a striking focal point, combining traditional colour with decorative detailing to deliver a bold, characterful finish.
The project features Victorian Green and Pavilion Green from Original Style’s Artworks collection, a range celebrated for its rich glazed colours, traditional tile formats and decorative detailing.
The deep Victorian Green tiles frame the bar fronts and surrounding surfaces, creating a strong visual contrast against the lighter Pavilion Green feature panels. The glossy glaze catches the light, adding depth and subtle variation across the tiled surfaces, while the contrasting colours and geometric layout bring a contemporary edge to the traditional palette.
The combination of these two shades creates a cohesive design that complements the pub setting while giving the serving counters a distinctive identity.
The completed Crossbar at Croke Park demonstrates how decorative tiling can enhance a high-traffic hospitality setting, balancing traditional pub character with a contemporary finish.
