Located at George's Quay, Volumes is a contemporary café and social space designed to combine modern hospitality with a calm and considered interior aesthetic. Situated within the Fifteen George’s Quay development, the project brings together clean architectural detailing, natural textures and carefully curated materials to create an environment centred around coffee, food and community.
A natural stone-effect surface plays a defining role throughout the interior, with Venistone Beige selected for the flooring across the space. Chosen for its soft tonal variation and refined texture, the material introduces warmth and depth while complementing the contemporary architectural language of the café.
The neutral tones and organic movement within the surface create a calm and welcoming atmosphere, allowing natural light to interact subtly across the floor throughout the day. The seamless finish enhances the openness of the interior while contributing to the understated and modern aesthetic present throughout the project.
Applied across the main flooring areas, Venistone Beige helps ground the interior palette while balancing the softer textures and minimalist detailing used throughout the space. Its timeless appearance and durable finish make it particularly suited to a high-traffic hospitality environment, where both functionality and visual refinement are central to the overall design approach.
The material palette throughout Volumes reflects a restrained and carefully considered design language, where texture and tone are used to create warmth without overpowering the simplicity of the architecture. Attention to craftsmanship and detail ensures cohesion throughout the interior, allowing each finish to integrate seamlessly within the wider vision of the project.
