Located in the heart of Dublin, Pen & Player is a richly layered hospitality space designed to combine contemporary luxury with an intimate and atmospheric interior aesthetic. The project balances bold colour palettes, dramatic lighting and refined material finishes to create an environment that feels elegant, immersive and distinctive.

A key feature throughout the interior is the use of Boost Stone Grey and Boost Stone Tarmac across the flooring, introducing depth, texture and contrast within the space. The combination of tonal grey surfaces creates a subtle geometric rhythm throughout the interior, helping to define the flow of the room while complementing the rich architectural detailing and warm ambient lighting.

The natural stone-effect finishes bring a grounded and sophisticated quality to the interior, balancing the dramatic red tones and softer furnishings used throughout the space. The contrast between the lighter grey and darker tarmac tones creates visual structure across the floor, enhancing the layered and carefully curated atmosphere of the venue.

The textured surfaces interact beautifully with the lighting throughout the interior, adding movement and depth while maintaining the refined and understated character of the flooring palette. The large-format finish contributes to the seamless and contemporary feel of the space, allowing the materiality to integrate naturally within the wider design scheme.

Selected for both their visual impact and durability, Boost Stone Grey and Boost Stone Tarmac contribute to an interior that feels timeless, elegant and highly considered. Careful attention to detailing and craftsmanship ensures cohesion throughout the project, with every surface working together to support the wider architectural vision of the venue.

The result is a sophisticated hospitality interior where contemporary stone-effect surfaces, atmospheric lighting and refined design come together to create a bold and memorable experience.
